Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the IR strategy aligned with Vietjet Thailand's financial calendar, SET disclosure requirements, and the airline's long-term growth narrative
- Manage relationships with institutional investors, equity analysts, fund managers, and rating agencies across domestic and international markets
- Prepare earnings releases, annual reports, investor presentations, roadshow materials, and quarterly operational KPI disclosures — including aviation-specific metrics such as RASK, CASK, load factor, and fleet utilization
- Monitor and analyse airline industry trends, competitor financial performance, fuel hedging strategies, and route economics to inform investor messaging
- Coordinate roadshows, non-deal roadshows (NDRs), investor days, and conference participations in collaboration with the CEO, CFO, and Vietjet Group IR team in Vietnam
- Ensure compliance with SET, SEC Thailand, and IATA transparency standards; liaise with legal and compliance on all public disclosures
- Maintain the investor relations section of the corporate website and manage the IR communications calendar
- Provide shareholder analysis, perception studies, and consensus tracking to inform the Board and management
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration — required
- MBA, CFA charterholder, or CPA designation — strongly preferred
- IATA Airline Financial Management or equivalent aviation finance training — an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, or capital markets
- Prior experience in the airline, aviation, or transportation sector is strongly preferred — familiarity with LCC business models, aircraft leasing structures, and IATA reporting standards is a distinct advantage
- Proven track record managing institutional investor relationships for a publicly listed company (SET, SGX, HKEx, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with aviation KPIs: ASK, RPK, RASK, CASK, yield, OTP, load factor, and fleet utilization metrics
- Experience supporting equity capital markets transactions (IPO, rights issue, block placement) is advantageous
Industry-Specific Knowledge
- Understanding of aircraft operating/finance lease structures, MRO cost dynamics, and fuel cost hedging strategies
- Familiarity with the CAAT (Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand) regulatory environment and its implications on airline operations and public disclosures
- Working knowledge of Southeast Asia aviation market dynamics, slot management, bilateral air service agreements, and post-pandemic demand recovery trends
- Understanding of IFRS 16 lease accounting as applied to airline balance sheets
Skills & Competencies
- Business English — fluent written and spoken (Thai and/or Vietnamese is a significant plus)
- Executive-level presentation skills and financial storytelling ability
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg Terminal, and CapIQ
- Financial modelling and valuation (DCF, comparables, sum-of-the-parts)
- Cross-border stakeholder management, with a focus on APAC institutional investors
- High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle material non-public information (MNPI)
