Job Description
Area of Responsibility:
1. Procurement and Warranty Management
- Provide proper systems for the procurement, storage, issue, transportation, handling and control of spares, equipment and materials efficiently and economically.
- Produces short, mid and long-term forecast for spares and materials to ensure availability in a timely manner.
- Procure and manage, receipt and dispatch aircraft spares and commercial materials including stores inspection.
- Reviews and authorizes purchase orders, invoices, warranty claims and other service charges and highlights any discrepancies.
- Liaise to aircraft manufacturer, vendor, supplier for engineering information exchange and support.
- Liaise with QA for approval of new suppliers to be included in the Approved Vendor List.
2. Storage Management
- To monitor and control of shelf life for parts and materials while in storage.
- Conducts regular audits on the stores, stockholdings, stock status and value and to ensure deficiencies are promptly addressed and rectified
- To participate in the preparation for acceptance of new or leased aircraft and for the lease return as per expeditiously per lease agreement obligations.
3. Logistic Management
- Supervises and directs material movements within the operating networks, reviews unserviceable parts and provides recommendations for BER parts for scrapping.
4. Work Load and Training Competency
- To identify training needs and to provide training for subordinates to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
5. Audit Support
- Assign the Store staff to support with the audit as required.
- To ensure that the necessary corrective and preventive actions resulting from compliance monitoring and audit program findings have been complied.

Minimum requirements:
- Advance Diploma in Aerospace, Computer Management, Logistic and involved department
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the aircraft engineering store and logistic field
- Specific knowledge:
- Dangerous goods
- Material handling
- Electrostatic Sensitive Device (ESD) handling
- Knowledge of ATA Chapter codes
- Basic aircraft knowledge especially the company operating aircraft type
- Knowledge of supply chain management and information system
- Friendly, team working & leadership
