| • In consultation with Business Process Owners, IT team, and others, provide consulting services to understand the context of the required project and desired future state. • Lead high-level and detailed requirement phases identifying, validating for accuracy, tracking, escalating, and/or resolving business systems issues. Create and deliver functional specifications. • Play a lead and influential role in System upgrade and new System module implementation projects • Participating in post-implementation reviews to ensure projects are measured against actual deliverables, with a focus toward continuous process improvement • Help the business users envision the targeted standardized future state. • Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders. • Develop analysis that clearly illustrates alignment or misalignment of the desired business needs, business processes, and IT solutions. • Develop criteria for and participate in the evaluation of 3rd party vendors and software; manage the detailed aspects of daily operations with 3rd party vendors • Identify and drive opportunities for business process improvements and redesign either in existing systems or by adopting new functionalities available in other systems, while demonstrating project and program management leadership • Document, design and configure solutions in System/application. • Constructively develop and communicate solutions to issues and questions and to support the business in implementing changes to make effective use of the system. • Perform detailed string and silo scenario testing on changes to the system. • Developing and maintaining project documentation, standard operating procedures, and other documentation as required during and after executing implementation tasks. • Develop and execute test plans, spearheading the systems and acceptance verification/QA process by facilitating the participation of appropriate staff in project completion; assist and provide feedback on testing strategy and test case execution • Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the business analysis function, promoting and enhancing the business analysis tools, techniques and approaches within the organization Train staff on the use of the system with an emphasis on disseminating knowledge through subject matter experts |
| Minimum requirements: | ||||||||
| - Education: | BA/BS in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent successful experience in a similar controls industry role. | |||||||
| -Job related experience: | - Experience 3–5 Years in Engineering - Experience with Java Programming - Highly motivated individual willing to learn and participate in a fast-paced environment - Code Deployment/Merge experience preferred - Experience with API‘s (SOAP, Rest) preferred - GitHub experience is a plus - Airline reservation system experience is a plus - Must have excellent troubleshooting, communication and organizational skills. |

| - Specific knowledge: | - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Proficient in Microsoft Visio and AutoCad - Read architectural, mechanical and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems - A solid understanding of network communications technology Internet, Intranet, VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc. - Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills |
