1. Position Summary:
The Workshop NDT Officer is responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) in a workshop under written instructions and direct supervision. In addition to basic NDT operations, the Officer supports inspection activities for the Thai Vietjet Fleet and the Wheel & Brake Shop to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements.
2. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform NDT inspections using standard techniques (e.g., Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current) strictly in accordance with written procedures.

Prepare test specimens or samples for inspection, accurately conduct inspections, and record the results systematically.

Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment to ensure proper functioning for consistent testing performance.

Perform inspections on all aircraft in the Thaivietjet fleet in accordance with the NDT Manual and work instructions from Level 2 and Level 3.

Conduct inspections of the relevant Wheel & Brake processes.

Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure an efficient workflow and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
3. Special Skills and Requirements Needed:

Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, technical manuals, and NDT documentation accurately.

Strong commitment to a career in NDT with a proactive attitude toward learning and development.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English.

Must achieve a minimum TOEIC score of 450.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills for recording and managing inspection data.

Ability to work in shifts and on weekends as required by operational needs.
4. Academic Qualification Requirements

Vocational Certificate or Bachelor's degree in an NDT-related or relevant discipline (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, Material Science).

Demonstrate a strong commitment to NDT with relevant work experience, especially in aircraft MRO.

Able to read and interpret technical manuals (e.g., NTM, CMM, or IPC documents), mechanical drawings, work instructions, and process documents.

Experience with NDT processes meeting EN4179 and NAS410 standards is considered optional.
