- Infrastructure & Strategy: Own end-to-end data platform architecture across cloud/on-prem environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake), ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
 - Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and hire data engineers, cultivating a DevOps culture of innovation and high performance.
 - Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with analytics, data science, and business units to translate data requirements into scalable technology solutions.
 - Data Governance: Enforce data quality standards, privacy regulations, and compliance across all data pipelines.
 - Operations & Budget: Oversee platform budget, manage vendor relationships, and lead incident management/root cause analysis for data issues
 - Engage, coach and inspire a highly skilled team of data engineers; to ensure capacity and skills align with the
evolving needs of the organisation
 -  Strong technical leadership and strategic decision making around the Data and Analytics platforms
-  Seamlessly integrate Agile methodologies with DevOps practices to streamline development and deploymentcycles.
-  Oversee and approve platform budget, architecture, quality, security, and supplier implementation to guarantee optimal performance and alignment
-  Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, taking a lead role in project management activities when required.
-  Lead the evolution of capabilities of the technical stack underpinning the Data platform, platform engineering, Reporting Analytics, Integrations and deployment processes
-  Hands on expertise in creating, managing optimising data pipelines and reporting environments.
-  Ensuring platform quality assurance, delivery prioritisation and requirements processes
-  Manage and govern multiple large, sensitive and high value data assets
-  Assist with the planning, acquisition, storing, organising, destroying and archiving of all data
-  Level 2 and 3 Issue Management and Service Request fulfilment processes
-  Managing lifecycle of all Data, Reporting and Analytical platform applications and databases
-  Managing Source code, technical and user documentation libraries
-  Data Platform security, availability and auditability
-  Managing technical aspects of any Data platform or Data integration related initiatives
-  Stakeholder and expectation management for platform capabilities
-  AI capability building in the team and evaluation of use cases for delivery
-  Future planning for all platforms in consultation with industry trends
