We are looking for a candidate who is not just an assistant, but an operational backbone for our new workshop. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling confidential financial data and be tech-savvy enough to use AI tools to bridge language gaps with our French partners.
Target Profile: A proactive Thai national who is comfortable wearing "multiple hats" (Admin, Finance, and HR) in a startup environment for a French-Thai aviation joint venture.
Position Overview
Position Title: Assistant to Plant Manager
Location: Lat Krabang, Bangkok (Near Suvarnabhumi Airport)
Industry: Aviation Maintenance (MRO - Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul)
Reporting to: Plant Manager (Expat/Thai)
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Assist the Plant Manager in daily operations, scheduling, and coordinating with the French headquarters.
- General Admin & Facility: Manage office supplies, coordinate facility maintenance, and handle basic purchasing for the workshop.
- Financial Admin (Accounting/Payroll): Handle petty cash, verify invoices/billing (English), coordinate with the external accounting firm, and manage monthly payroll/Social Security (SSO) for a small team.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for local vendors and government agencies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years in Admin, Accounting, or Secretary roles. Experience in a manufacturing plant or startup is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Language Skills: Thai: Native. - English: Functional Literacy. Must be able to read English invoices/contracts and write professional emails. (Usage of AI tools like ChatGPT/DeepL for drafting is acceptable, but the candidate must have enough foundation to verify the output).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP) and Word. Familiarity with basic accounting principles ($Debit/Credit$).
- Attitude: "Can-do" mindset, highly organized, and able to work independently without a large support team.
