- Oversight and control of the carriage of Dangerous Goods both cargo and passenger.
- Ensuring all necessary permissions, approvals and exemptions are held.
- Generation (or acceptance) of relevant procedures.
- Responding to queries regarding the carriage of Dangerous Goods.
- Assisting the Director of Ground Operations to update and disseminate changes in Dangerous Goods handling related regulatory requirements to concerned parties.
- Liaise with CAAT and relevant authorities with regard to Dangerous Goods incidents, accidents and occurrence, including preparing and establishing reports to the authorities.
- Establish Dangerous Goods procedures and provide feedback to management on dangerous goods-related policies.
- Ensure TVJ operations are in conformity with Dangerous Goods policies and procedures approved by CAAT.
- When required, participate in dangerous goods audits and inspections as a subject matter expert or auditor.
- Actively participate in the region’s Dangerous Goods community and conference.
- Revised and updated the TVJ Dangerous Goods Manual (DGM) and coordinate with the relevant department to review all concerned manual in scope of Dangerous Goods.
- Collect record and submit monthly report of carrier Dangerous Goods to DGI CAAT.
- To be a secretary of DG Committee and prepare the presentation including submit the minute of DG Committee meeting on a quarterly basis.
Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience relevant to handling of Dangerous Goods.
- Successfully completed and maintain recently in Dangerous Goods Training Program.
